An Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG from San Michele, 15.5% ABV, made in the traditional way: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes dried for about four months before fermenting, the appassimento method that gives Amarone its concentration and weight.

Expect dark, spiced fruit throughout: black cherry, plum, and dried fig, with baking spice, dried herbs, and a touch of chocolate, all carried on smooth, velvety tannins. It earned a Double Gold Medal from Gilbert & Gaillard, who called it structured and deeply aromatic with a rich body. A classic match for braised short ribs, aged cheese, or a cold night.
