A 2010 from Château Rauzan-Ségla, a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé in Margaux owned by the Chanel group since 1994, with Nicolas Audebert leading the winemaking since 2014. A Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend at 14% ABV, built in a classically reserved Margaux style.

Expect a quiet, almost soapy Margaux nose giving way to concentrated, creamy dark fruit: ripe blackcurrant, scorched earth, chocolate, and leafy tobacco, finished with velvety tannins and a long, blockbuster finish. Jeb Dunnuck scored it 98 points with a drinking window to 2053, and Jane Anson gave it 96. A serious Margaux for a serious occasion.
