Caymus Vineyards' top tier Cabernet Sauvignon, the annual selection of their very best barrels, a tradition the Wagner family has kept since founders Charlie and Lorna Wagner started the winery in Rutherford. This 2017 vintage is rich and generous, around 15.8% ABV, with velvety layers of cassis, mulled plum, and blackberry, finished with mocha and roasted vanilla from the oak.

Wine Spectator scored it 94 points, and Wine.com's Wilfred Wong gave it 93. A big, celebratory Cabernet, built for a grilled ribeye and a night worth remembering.
