Barons de Rothschild Concordia Brut

A non vintage Champagne from Maison Barons de Rothschild, the Champagne house founded in the early 2000s when three branches of the Rothschild family, the names behind Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Mouton Rothschild, and Château Clarke, came together around a shared sparkling wine project. Concordia is their Brut, a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, with most of the fruit sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards and reserve wines folded into the blend. It spends a minimum of four years aging on the lees before release.

Expect crisp pear and juicy nectarine on the nose, with dried apricot, toasted almond, and a touch of sweet spice. The palate carries bright stone fruit into a long, clean finish with a hint of honey and white pepper. Critics have scored it in the low 90s, including James Suckling and Wine Advocate.
